This blog has been created in order to inform public discourse, policy, and decision making by providing factual, objective analysis of issues important to New Paltz. This past month, there has been a multitude of posts on the New Paltz group (not page) on Facebook regarding the issue of consolidation of New Paltz Town and Village, many of them critiquing the report of the Fiscal Committee on Consolidation. There is one long thread containing most of the comments to date and several other threads as well. This blog is intended to make available as least some of the content from that New Paltz Facebook page to interested parties who do not use Facebook. This blog was created on Thursday 1/24/2013.
